The Interpretation Layer is a set of tools to add context and meaning to charts and datasets on the Stack Report.
are the core launch feature for the interpretation layer, giving community members the ability to leave behind Notes on various charts on the stack report. Providing further context to key events and trends within the ecosystem.
This launch feature is relatively simple and serves as test phase for the Tezos integrations. More ideas for the interpretation layer are in the works although not ready to be revealed just yet.
To contribute to the interpretation layer, you need to hold an Interpretation Layer Access Card in your account.
See objkt.com for the Access Cards Set collection.
Leave notes behind on charts to mark specific events and an extra layer of interpretation on top of datasets.

As a curator, find and add community notes to the curated collection
You can add a Chart Note to specific positions on the x-axis. The way to do this is by hovering over the x axis with the mouse cursor and then clicking on the position where you want to add the node. Upon hover, a preview of the note will appear already to indicate where the note will be placed.

When multiple notes are placed near each other, they will stack on top of each other up to 5 levels high, then they will start to overlap.

In default settings you will see your own private notes and curated notes. On the chart you can toggle between which layers you wish to see:

By default when you create a note it will exist in private state and remains only visible to you, the note creator. But you can make the note publicly available by toggling the state to community. The editorial team actively reviews community notes and can add them to the curated note set.
